Privacy Policy
How Vinlio handles your information.
Vinlio is a B2B software platform for wine retailers, wineries, producers, tasting rooms, and wine clubs. This policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected when you visit this site or engage with Vinlio.
Effective: May 27, 2026.
What Vinlio Is
Vinlio is a purpose-built platform for independent wine businesses — retailers, wineries, producers, tasting rooms, and clubs. It covers catalog management, orders, commerce, marketing, accounting, fulfillment, and the Bridge workspace. Vinlio is currently in early access and is provisioned to businesses through direct conversations, not automated checkout.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Vinlio, we may collect the following types of information:
Contact form submissions. When you reach out through the Contact page, we collect the information you provide: your name or business name, role, email address, and the content of your message. This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry.
Fit Check responses. The Vinlio Fit Check asks questions about your business type, operational workflow, channels, and module priorities. These responses are used to generate a workflow recommendation. They are operational in nature and are not heavily personal. Fit Check responses are not shared with third parties.
Analytics and technical data. When you visit this site, we collect basic technical information: pages visited, referrer, browser type, and approximate location (country or region level). This data is used to understand how the site is being used and to improve it. We do not use cross-site behavioral tracking, ad-targeting pixels, or third-party marketing analytics platforms.
Account and platform information. When Vinlio accounts are provisioned in the future, additional business and operational data may be collected to operate the platform. This policy will be updated at that time to reflect expanded data handling.
How We Use Information
- To respond to inquiries submitted through the Contact page.
- To deliver Fit Check results and, where relevant, follow up on onboarding conversations.
- To understand how the site and product are being used so we can improve them.
- To operate the platform and deliver services when accounts are provisioned.
We do not use your information for advertising, behavioral profiling, or resale to third parties.
Fit Check Responses
The Fit Check is a workflow-mapping tool. Responses generate a business-fit and module-priority recommendation based on your operational profile. This recommendation is for informational purposes only — it is not a binding quote, contract, or professional advice. Fit Check responses are not shared with third parties and are used only to improve the recommendation engine and guide onboarding conversations.
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses basic session cookies necessary for the site to function. We may also use analytics cookies to understand aggregate site usage (pages visited, session duration, referrers). We do not use ad-targeting cookies, third-party behavioral tracking cookies, or social media pixels.
If you prefer not to be tracked by analytics, you can use browser extensions or privacy-mode browsing. We respect Do Not Track signals where technically feasible.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertising platforms. We may share information with third-party service providers necessary to operate the platform — for example, hosting infrastructure or transactional email delivery — but those providers are engaged under appropriate data processing terms and are not permitted to use your information for their own marketing.
Security and Retention
We apply industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect information collected through this site. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be fully secure, but we work to maintain reasonable protections.
Information is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — typically for the duration of an onboarding conversation or active account relationship — and is not retained indefinitely.
Future Platform Expansion
Vinlio is currently in early access. As the platform expands to full account provisioning, the scope of data collected and processed will grow to include business operational data, billing information, and user account records. This privacy policy will be updated to reflect those changes before they take effect.
Policy Updates
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the site after a material change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
Governing Law
This privacy policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes related to this policy or to the handling of your information shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida.
